Job Description:

We are looking for a Product Manager who will bring a strong mix of technical, commercial and customer-facing skills. You will have the opportunity to build winning strategies in support of the growth plans of the business. You will help create products with strong market fit by defining a clear vision that aligns with product engineering team goals while keeping up to date on all market developments essential to achieving our desired outcomes. Key aspects of this role focus on developing and maintaining the product roadmap, aligning with internal business and technical stakeholders, and communicating our unique value throughout the customer journey in the rapidly developing quantum computing space. You’ll also work closely with our sales and marketing teams to create compelling messaging that resonates with customers and leads at all stages of the buyer and user journey.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining strategic oversight acting as a central hub for critical information about our products, vision, market requirements, and competitive landscape.

  • Continually gather and analyse data and business intelligence from all available sources to inform the formulation and maintenance of our product roadmap; inclusive of feature differentiation, positioning and pricing.

  • Collaborating with a broad range of teams to ensure our products’ success at every stage of the lifecycle.

  • Active support for business development activities as the technical authority for ORCA Computing’s products in the market.

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Knowledge & Proficiency in our key technology areas of quantum computing, HPC and Machine Learning.

  • Knowledge & Proficiency in Core Product Management Skill Areas: technology mapping, business case analysis, competitor analysis, market segmentation, buyer persona analysis, positioning, pricing strategy, and a lifecycle perspective.

  • Proven experience developing and distilling market research via qualitative and quantitative methods and proficient analytical skills and passion for analysing products, competitors, and market dynamics.

  • Strong and persuasive communication skills to articulate a clear product strategy to both internal stakeholders and external audiences

Preferred:

  • Masters or PhD Degree (or comparable experience) in a science, technology, business field.

  • 5+ years of integrated product management experience specifically within a B2B technology industry.

  • Organised, detail-oriented and capable of advancing projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding English communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal).

  • Industry experience in quantum computing, HPC or AI is highly desirable.
